The Flinders River, at 1004 km, is the longest river in Queensland with a catchment covering 109,000 km2.
The Flinders River Ag Precinct is located in the northeast of Australia, in the state of Queensland and forms part of the Gulf Rivers Agricultural Zone.
The Flinders catchment has a footprint larger than the state of Tasmania. The strategic location of the precinct allows produce to be delivered to national and international markets with easy access to ports and international airports via Townsville, Cairns, Darwin.
